Little winter Helpers
Christmas shopping in the high street seems at the moment to be more about personal comfort rather than the big spends, i’d like to say i’ve set more people up with Boards and skis but the fact is i’m selling more hand and feet warmers, socks and base layers than anything else, it could be that people are holding back on the hard ware and making do with previous seasons gear or it could be the new seasons gear just doesn’t have that wow factor enough to warrant the expenditure, well you can always count on raijin sports for the essentials and if you check out the store online you’ll find Skis and Boards with more than enough wow.
Weather,Warm Feet And a Ale for the Alpinists.
While sources say Tignes is in for more PPPowder next week, and the Snow sports season gets off to a good start high street stores are having to resort to Flash sales to get the consumer in the doors plus there is a greater availability of previous seasons gear at lower prices, and naturally people are turning to internet retailers much like our very own http://www.RaijinSports.co.uk to get all manner of winter goodies from hand crafted Japanese ski’s to a hand and feet warmers( which kind of makes perfect sense really, why get cold going down the shops for feet warmers when you can have them delivered an walk out the front door …already warm!!!). And talking of winter warmers check out what the guys at Mammut have come up with …Yessss, I just can’t wait for Arcteryx bring out a fine single malt or a full bodied red, then possibly North Face can remain true to form an produce a fortified alchopop that “Does the job,but looks like crap”…Well till next time from CkRaijin. ; )
European weather?
Just a quick rant from CkRaijin from Raijin Sports
Earlier This week the London paper told us that there was little or no snow in Europe, Hmm, Now if you’ll cast an eye to the picture below of the chap knee-deep in powder, this would appear to be Tignes France a few day’s ago, unless of course this isn’t snow but it is indeed Sugar Frosting, well by that revelation i can reveal that Hintertux in Austria has 135cm of Sugar frosting,Val d’Isere France has 60cm of yummy Sugar frosting, and Scotland is a Diabetics nightmare, although to be fair the papers did say Scotland was a safe bet!!! which is a first whatever the context.
Hello world!
